Meridian Signs is led by a team of industry veterans with decades of experience in signage, construction, operations, and customer service. Each leader plays a vital role in delivering quality signage solutions — with a shared commitment to results, relationships, and reliability.
Al Ross is a leading figure in the Houston sign industry and a seasoned entrepreneur. He founded National Signs at 28, growing it into one of Texas' largest sign companies with nearly $20 million in annual revenue before its sale in 2012. He then launched Al Ross Luxury Homes, pioneering the "Luxury Spec Home" market and achieving $200 million in construction revenue.
Al was born in Iran and moved to Houston at 13, balancing work and studies to fulfill his parents' dreams. Now, his latest venture, Meridian Signs, aims to transform the industry with a focus on consultative sales, creative design, and customer service. Al is also a mentor at the University of Houston and supports local business development.
Gregg Hollenberg, a Houston-based signage expert with nearly two decades of industry leadership is President of Meridian Signs. Starting his signage career in 2008 with National Signs, he helped grow the company and facilitated its transition to private equity ownership as President and then CEO.
Gregg founded Sign Advisors in 2018 offering custom signage projects and becoming one of the largest LED sign providers in Houston. Previously, Gregg held senior executive roles in the energy and construction materials sectors and served on the boards of the Greater Houston Sign Association, Texas Sign Association, Hermann Park Conservancy, and the Better Business Bureau. He holds a BA and MBA from Duke University and is OSHA certified.
Joann Warren is a seasoned financial and operational executive in the signage industry, leading administrative, accounting, banking, financial, and legal activities at Meridian Signs.
Joann began her career managing branch offices for Konecranes International before joining National Signs as Controller in 2006. She later became COO of Al Ross Luxury Homes, overseeing M&A, compliance, and financial operations for over $200 million in revenue. Joann is also co-owner of Warren’s Plumbing and Huffman True Value, reflecting her broad business expertise and local community involvement.
John Graff has over 40 years of signage experience. At Meridian Signs, he oversees manufacturing, installation, and operations. He began as a metal fabricator in Wisconsin before relocating to Houston to lead a major signage production facility. John has worked with some of the largest sign companies in Houston and most recently was Vice President of Operations of National Signs.
John has played a key role in several large-scale branding projects, including the Chevron and Capital One conversions, Memorial Hermann rebranding, and the Smart Financial Centre. Known for his deep industry knowledge, John takes pride in mentoring future leaders and driving operational excellence.
SenLy Fox brings over 30 years of experience in sales, marketing, and executive leadership across multiple industries. She started in the sign industry in 2013 as Vice President of Sales & Marketing at National Signs. She later launched Stroll Tanglewood and serves as Co-Host for American Dream TV – Texas.
SenLy is deeply involved in community organizations across Houston including Peaceful Planet Foundation Advisory Council, the Barbara Bush Ladies for Literacy Guild, the Houston Symphony League, the Friends of the TMC Library, the UT Health Cizik School of Nursing Partners and the Salvation Army Woman's Auxiliary. She previously served on the University of Houston Bauer Alumni Association Board. Her leadership and dedication to client success make her a trusted partner for Meridian Signs’ customers.
Rani Huffaker has over 35 years of sales and marketing experience in the Houston signage industry. Previously Vice President of Sales at State Sign Corporation. She has led successful custom signage projects across healthcare, corporate, entertainment and retail sectors.
Rani is a past director and chair for Division 5 of The World Sign Associates. She was the 2008-2009 President of the Texas Sign Association and was inducted into their Hall of Fame in 2025. Rani’s leadership, industry knowledge, and client-first mindset make her a trusted advisor to Meridian Signs clients.
Monic Ingram is a seasoned Senior Account Executive with over 30 years of experience in signage design, manufacturing, advertising sales, and integrated marketing. A graduate of the Art Institute of Houston, she is known for her creativity, strong client relationships, and commitment to exceptional service.
Monic partners closely with churches, schools, and community organizations, and she is also the heart behind Meridian’s holiday celebrations—bringing warmth, joy, and creativity to the office year-round.
Jim Fulop brings over 30 years of sign industry experience to Meridian Signs. Known for his industry knowledge, client-first mindset, and long-standing relationships, Jim provides trusted guidance to customers across a wide range of signage needs.
Jim is a true solution provider and creative thinker with a keen eye for fabrication and installation detail. He knows how to navigate the complexities of large-scale signage projects for hospitals, high-rise office buildings, educational campuses, municipal buildings and other critical environments.
Joseph Carranza brings a relationship-focused approach and fresh energy to Meridian Signs. With experience in B2B sales, real estate, and videography, he offers a versatile perspective on project coordination and client service.
Joseph is a Houston native and is dedicated to building long-term partnerships throughout the city’s growing construction and development community.
Candy White has almost 20 years of project management experience leading complex signage, construction, and development projects. She’s known for strategic planning, client communication, and ensuring jobs are completed on time and on budget.
Candy has been a member of the Texas Sign Association since 2007 and is passionate about driving results through clear processes and team collaboration. Her top priority - a happy client every time.
Kristi Lowery has extensive experience managing large signage and construction projects nationwide. Her expertise includes permitting, procurement, and streamlining project workflows across retail, hospitality, and nonprofit sectors.
Kristi has earned leadership awards including the Best & Brightest Construction Award and recognition from the US Green Building Council. She is known for leading with efficiency and passion from concept to completion.
David VanOrstrand brings almost 20 years of field project management experience in signage and electrical work. He leads onsite execution, installation logistics, and quality assurance for Meridian Signs.
David is personally present at every major installation to ensure safe, precise, and timely project delivery. Known for his efficiency, leadership, and client-focused service, he’s a key link between design and delivery.
With over 25 years in the sign industry, Jaime Perez brings deep technical and field leadership experience to Meridian Signs. Since beginning his career in 1997, he has worked as an Installer, Installation Manager, and Service Manager, giving him a comprehensive understanding of field operations and client needs.
Jaime is known for his hands-on approach, problem-solving skills, and commitment to delivering results that exceed expectations.
James Martin is a third-generation Houstonian with more than 40 years of experience blending craftsmanship, design, and fabrication expertise. Beginning his career as a machinist, he later earned a diploma in Commercial Art from the Art Institute of Houston.
James has contributed across fabrication, installation, and design roles, earning the Texas Sign Manufacturers Association Frank Page Award in 1997 and helping establish National Signs’ manufacturing operations. Skilled in CorelDraw, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and V-Ray, he delivers precise, high-quality design and visualization work. James is known for his innovation, versatility, and lifelong dedication to the craft.
Michael Reta is an award-winning senior designer with over 25 years of experience in design, technology, and fabrication. At Meridian Signs, he combines advanced technical skills with artistic detail to deliver high-impact visual communication solutions.
Michael has earned multiple design awards from the Texas Sign Association and Mid-South Sign Association. Recognized for creating complex, realistic renderings and detailed mechanical drawings, he has also played a key role in improving quality control processes. Michael is a graduate of Texas State Technical College and holds certifications in Autodesk AutoCAD and Microsoft Access.
Mario Pena is an experienced graphic designer, photographer, and musician with more than 20 years in the design industry. At Meridian Signs, he transforms early project concepts into polished, functional, and visually compelling designs.
Mario has deep expertise in materials, lighting, color theory, and textures ensures every project is both durable and aesthetically sound. Known for blending creativity with technical precision, he consistently produces realistic, high-quality design work.
Eric Martin has been creating advertising and sign designs for decades, bringing deep experience and a forward-thinking approach to every project. Eric specializes in bold, attention-grabbing visual solutions - whether large-scale exterior graphics, interior accents, logo enhancements, or custom monuments. Eric’s focus on innovation and customer impact ensures designs that stand out and deliver results.
